IYAPC has brought its season to a resounding close with its final winner’s concert on July 26th and 27th, 2025, presented by the Washington International Piano Festival at Catholic University of America.

As we look forward to our 41st Anniversary Season in 2025-2026, we are thrilled to celebrate with you with more classical favorites, esteemed contemporary works, distinguished juries as well as new and returning pianists. Of course, we couldn’t be more grateful to our generous sponsors and supporters, like YOU!

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2025 IYAPC competitions! And we have given out Certificate of Appreciation and souvenir booklets in the award ceremony with enthusiastic friends. After that, we had a wonderful cake and singing time. As always, seeing all of you (online) and spending that time in preliminaries and Finals together brought us such joy. We want to thank all the teachers and parents for gathering detailed information, including the video links, and for making and submitting the recordings in a timely fashion allowing us to meet all the deadlines. IYAPC has been delighting the music world with diversified, inclusive and equity repertoire from the East and the West. You need to be there to hear those heartwarming performances by young pianists of all ages of all nationalities.

The Competition Finals in person will be held on June 26-28, 2026 at Catholic University of America with more new compositions and awards. Please check IYAPC’s 2025-2026 brochure and YouTube 2025 winner’s playlist, as well as Guideline for video YouTube recording for preliminaries. March 15, 2026 is the deadline for all registrations that are sent by teachers. IYAPC looks forward to continuing our collaborative work with you and your teachers to advance this special event for the future.

For Preliminaries 2026 only - Guideline for video YouTube recording:

2 separate links, one for each piece. Wear recital attire including shoes. Make sure there are no other noises during the recording. Position your recording device so the entire performer will be visible, including feet and the pedals. No need to send music scores. Use general names for YouTube. No personal information, performers’ names, people comments, awards listing and prizes on the video. Videos should only include music, composer and details of the pieces with opus, keys, numbers, and movements 🎶. And sent to the teachers in due time. Please check with your teachers about video dates.
